We drive to Sariyer along the European shore of the strait, passing through charming Ottoman villages full of fancifully decorated 19 th century houses, before cruising down the Bosphorus, gliding past palaces and the Rumeli Hisari and Anadolu Hisari fortresses. At the conclusion of our tour, we also visit the legendary Spice Bazaar*.
