DAY 1 Arrival in Istanbul
Arrive Istanbul and transfer to your hotel where you will meet the guide. Before dinner you will take a walk through the historical Sultanahmet district of Istanbul, having a look at the Hippodrome and the famous Blue Mosque. . Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2 Istanbul tour
Today after breakfast visit Topkapi Palace home to many of the Ottoman Sultans. Later visit the Haghia Sophia, once a Byzantine Church now a museum with wonderful mosaics. After lunch visit the Egyptian Spice Bazaar followed by an afternoon cruise on the Bosphorous to admire the marble palaces and wooden Ottoman villas lining both shores of the fabled waterway. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 3 Istanbul tour, flight to Ankara
Today we will visit the Grand Bazaar, with its more than 4,000 shops, followed by a visit across the Golden Horn to Taksim Square where we will see a more modern side of Istanbul. In the afternoon we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Ankara. In Ankara we will check into our hotel and have a relaxing evening. Overnight in Ankara.
DAY 4 Ankara tour, drive to Cappadocia
Today we will visit the world renowned Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, and its impressive array of archaeological finds, including Neolithic artefacts, a Hittite collection and Phrygian exhibits. This will be followed by a visit to Anitkabir, Ataturk's Mausoleum. Ataturk was the founder of Modern Turkey. We will then board for the drive to mystical Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 5 Cappadocia tour
Breakfast at the hotel before exploring the lunar landscape of Cappadocia visiting the Devrent valley, the Pasabag Valley, with its surreal mushrooming pinnacles and Avanos, renowned for its handmade pottery. Stop for lunch before continuing to the Citadel of Uchisar and the stunning valley of Goreme and the open air museum, where the remains of churches and early Christian dwellings, hewn from the rock, date back thousands of years. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 6 Cappadocia tour
Visit the famous rock churches in the red and rose valley and hike the 5 km. through the Gulludere valley. Visit the houses and churches of the Christian clergymen in the Cavusin village. After lunch in pigeon valley continue to Kaymakli underground city where the early Christians sought refuge. Finally, visit the natural castle at Ortahisar. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 7 Konya, drive to Antalya
After an early start, en route to Antalya, visit the 13th century Selcuk Caravansarai, the traveller’s inn of ‘Sultan Han’. The next stop will be Konya which is famous for its Mevlana Museum and the Theological school of the whirling dervishes. As in the past, Konya is today, still heavily influenced by Islamic culture. Konya is the home of the renowned religious sect of Mevlana, known as the ‘whirling dervishes’. Continue on to Antalya for overnight.
DAY 8 Antalya tour
This is one of the Turkey’s most important regions where you will visit a wealth of ancient Anatolian sites including the magnificent Pamphylian trading cities of Side, Perge and Aspendos. Particularly impressive are the free-standing theatre at Side, which seated 20.000. The stadium at Perge ,which is the largest in Asia Minor and the theatre at Aspendos which is one of the best preserved in the world. Continue to visit the beautiful natural setting of the stunning Manavgat waterfalls before returning to spend the night in Antalya.
DAY 9 Journey inland to Pamukkale
Journey inland to Pamukkale to enjoy the spas, pools, and terraces of this natural wonder, called the "Cotton Castle". This name is truly fitting; the brilliant white calcified terraces do truly resemble a Castle made of Cotton. We also spend time in Hieropolis, with the one of the largest and most diverse necropolis in the world. Overnight in Pamukkale.
DAY 10 Aphrodisias tour, drive to Kusadasi
Today we will visit Aphrodisias, the city of the goddess of love. There, we visit the Aphrodisias Museum, the remains of the Temple, Odeon, Theatre, Hadrian's Bath, Stadium and other ruins. Aphrodisias ranks with Ephesus among the world's best-preserved ancient cities. In the afternoon, we will have free time to explore the seaside resort of Kusadasi, with its Island fortress and pedestrian city centre. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 11 Ancient city Ephesus tour
We spend the day visiting the premiere Greco-Roman City of the ancient world, Ephesus. We explore the Temple of Hadrian, the famous Celsus Library, Great Theatre, Temple of Artemis and other Roman sites. We then visit the House of Virgin Mary and the impressive collections at the Ephesus Museum. Tonight we will have a special farewell dinner. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 12 Kusadasi (Turkey) - Samos (Greece) - Mykonos
Depart for Samos from Kusadasi in the morning, after two hours boat ride arrive Samos. Meet at the port, transfer to our branch in Samos, free time till afternoon ferry to Mykonos. In the afternoon, ferry to Mykonos. Arrive Mykonos late in the evening, meet at the port, and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Mykonos.
DAY 13 Free day at Mykonos
Free day at leisure to explore the Mykonos town with its cobbled streets or relax on one of its many beautiful beaches. Overnight in Mykonos.
DAY 14 Mykonos - Naxos
Transfer from hotel to port for Ferry to Naxos, arrive Naxos, meet at the port to transfer to the hotel in Naxos. Overnight in Naxos.
DAY 15 Free day at Naxos
All day free on this interesting island to explore its pristine, beauty and hidden villages nestled among rolling hills and enjoy its culture, traditional cuisine and numerous sandy beaches. Overnight in Naxos.
DAY 16 Naxos - Santorini
Transfer from hotel to the port for the ferry to Santorini. After a lovely trip of Aegean sea arrive Santorini, meet at the port, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Santorini.
DAY 17 Free day at Santorini
All day free on this enchanting island, Santorini to enjoy its breathtaking views, sizzling black sandy beaches and dazzling sunset. Overnight in Santorini.
DAY 18 Free day at Santorini - overnight ferry to Athens
All day free to enjoy the island. Transfer to port for the ferry to Athens. Overnight ferry to Athens. End of our services.
